Manchester University Music Society is the University's official student society for classical music. Or at least that is what most people think we are from our name. It is true that we are the official organisation to work alongside the University to create exhilarating music, but in fact, MUMS doesn't just cater for students, and goes way beyond the boundaries of classical music.

In residence in the University's multi-million pound Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama, MUMS puts on over 50 concerts a year ranging in musical styles from the Renaissance to the 21st century and from soul to the avant-garde.
