The University of Manchester Chamber Orchestra performs programmes of classical and early-romantic repertoire three times a year. As one of MUMS' dynamic ensembles,all players who audition in the MUMS general auditions may be offered playing opportunities in the Chamber Orchestra. The ensemble's principal conductor is MUMS' professional conductor, Mark Heron, but student conductors will also be conducting the orchestra over the year.
